Students are now at home for the entire day and many of them have not been given enough guidance by their teachers. The abrupt interruption to their regular routine throughout Monday to Friday can be really difficult to navigate.
It’s challenging to give your kids structure in their daily schedule. Many of us might be tempted to see this as an extended break, but for those of you who would rather use this time to set your kids up for success or get ahead of everyone else, we want to help.
We are publishing weekly worksheets across Grades 5-9, so that your kids can stay engaged throughout the school closures. A few tips before giving these worksheets to your kids:
👉🏻 Set aside 1 hour per day for your kid to work on these worksheets
👉🏻 Have them work in a quiet part of your home, with no distractions
👉🏻 Expect baby steps! It takes time to get used to the learning style (without teachers and a classroom)
